On September 5, 2007, the Apple Company launched the Portable Media Player – iPod touch. It belongs to iPod products. If you have an iPod touch, you will find it is a small version of iPhone. iPod touch has the functions of making phone call, taking pictures. You can use it completely smooth running, just like iPhone. Here, I want to ask: how many years have you bought your iPod touch? If you bought your iPod touch since the iPod touch was launched, it will be more then five years. Another question is: do you know how to speed up your iPod touch? You may shake your head, Here we will can make your iPod touch much faster by deleting some unnecessary launch daemons which is useless but have a bad influence on your iPod touch.

Now, we will teach you which launch daemons can be deleted without effecting your iPod touch files. In ordre to speed up iPod touch, we need to shut down some unnessary system processes. All launchers are stored on the folder of /System/Library/LaunchDaemon, you need to delete the "plist" file. If you afraid to lost your files, you can backup them on your computer.

Here are the unnessary system processes that you can delete

1. com.apple.DumpPanic.plis.

It is a process for Apple Company to assess whether the system is crashed or not.

2. com.apple.DumpBasebandCrash.plis

3. com.apple.CrashHouseKeeping.plist

They are also about the crash of system. All of them are useless for you.

4. com.apple.powerlog.plist

It is to monitor the incompatible charger. You can delete it.

5. com.apple.chud.chum.plist

It is related to CHUD toll (Computer Hardware Understanding Developer). If you are not a software developer, you can also delete it.

6. com.apple.chud.pilotfish.plis

It is also associated with software developing. You can delete them according to your need.

7. com.apple.datamigrator.plist

It is used to send your phone number from your SIM to your iPhone. For iPod touch user, it is no help.

8. com.apple.MobileInternetSharing.plist is the Network sharing system functions. You can get rid of it.

Follow this guide at your own risk. Not all results will be the same for all users, so you’d better to backup them before you follow the steps we offered. I still recommend you to have a try if you want to make your iPod touch faster.
